The choice of hearing aid naturally depends on your needs and preferences. This is clarified for an examination by our audiologist, who is also a specialist in hearing aids. We always ensure that our customers get the best current promotional offers from the manufacturers. We also have many years of experience with advice and examination prior to hearing aid treatment.

Prices include hearing test, preliminary examination, a set of hearing aids, fitting, 2-month trial period, extended warranty and free adjustment once a year for 4 years.

Hearing aids: Prices with subsidy


There are three ways in which you can obtain a subsidy for the price of your hearing aid. This is respectively via a referral from the public sector, by you contacting us yourself with a view to private treatment and via the so-called pool scheme. However, we are not part of the latter at Charlottenlund Privathospital.


Private treatment: The best devices with public subsidy

If you choose to receive private treatment, you can buy the devices with a public subsidy at Charlottenlund Privathospital. The subsidy is given if it is the first time you need hearing aids - or if it has been more than 4 years since you last got hearing aids. The public subsidy currently amounts to DKK 6,557 for treatment with two hearing aids, and you do not have to pay for the price without a subsidy. We take care of all the paperwork in connection with grants, applications and the like. For further information regarding subsidy rules, we refer to the Danish Health Authority's website and this pamphlet.


If you are a member of Denmark, you can get up to an additional DKK 3,000 in grants, which we apply for on your behalf, and we will thus ensure that you automatically get the money refunded.


Public referral: Free treatment and loan of cheap devices

When you have received a referral for hearing aid treatment from the specialist, he can refer you to a public hospital for treatment. This means that a longer waiting time must be expected, and the selection does not include the best hearing aids on the market. On the other hand, the treatment is quite free.


The pool scheme: Not offered under our auspices

With some specialists, treatment is offered via the so-called pool scheme. This means that you will be given a free public hearing aid under exactly the same conditions as described in the section on public treatment. The difference is simply that the treatment takes place in a specialist clinic and not in the hospital. For this reason, treatment is offered via the pool scheme with us.

Hearing aids: Prices without subsidy


You can, of course, also buy the hearing aids without subsidy, if you are not entitled to public subsidy. The price will therefore be more expensive, corresponding to the public subsidy (DKK 6,557).
