Four price levels. The same price regardless of brand. Everything is included — including the charger, fitting and our aftercare package.

Book an appointment

A pair of hearing aids costs between DKK 14,000 and DKK 22,000 with us after the public subsidy has been deducted. The price includes two hearing aids, a charger, a hearing test, an initial assessment, fitting, a two-month return period, and four years of follow-up care.

We apply for the public subsidy on your behalf, so you do not have to pay the subsidy amount upfront. The price depends on the level of technology, not on the brand you choose.

What is included in the price?

Everything you need to get off to a good start — and to keep your hearing aids working well for you.

  • Two hearing aids.
  • Charger.
  • Hearing test and preliminary assessment.
  • Fitting.
  • Two-month full return policy.
  • Protection plan covering loss and theft.
  • Four years of follow-up.

There are no additional charges afterwards. The only exception is custom-made earmoulds if required due to the shape of your ear canal - and you will always be informed before they are ordered.

Why do two different brands cost the same?

Because you are paying for the technology level, not the brand name.

All manufacturers offer the same hearing aid model in several technology levels. The hardware is often the same; what changes is the level of signal processing. Widex uses 220, 330 and 440. Signia uses 3, 5 and 7. Oticon and Bernafon follow the same principle with their own numbering systems.

We place each hearing aid in the category specified by the manufacturer. This means you can choose a brand based on how the sound suits you, rather than on the price tag.

It also means that you will not find every model in our range. If our purchase price does not match the technology level a hearing aid belongs to, we simply do not sell it — rather than placing it in a more expensive category than it should be.

How much does a hearing aid cost without a subsidy?

The total price is between DKK 21,934 and DKK 31,934 for a pair. The prices are after the public subsidy of DKK 6,934, which we apply for on your behalf. Without the subsidy, a pair costs between DKK 21,934 and DKK 31,934 — this applies, for example, if you have received hearing aids with a subsidy within the past four years.

All amounts are for two hearing aids, in Danish kroner and including VAT. Oticon Zeal 1 costs DKK 31,934 in total and DKK 25,000 after the subsidy.

You do not need to pay the public subsidy upfront yourself. We apply for it, and it is already deducted from the amount you pay.

When are you not eligible for the subsidy?

Normally, four years must have passed since you last received hearing aids with a public subsidy before you can receive it again. If less time has passed, you pay the full price.

There are exceptions. These include a significant deterioration in hearing due to a medical condition, if the hearing aid has been lost due to theft or fire, or if physical changes make it impossible to use. If you are unsure, ask us — we know the rules and can help with the application.

To receive the subsidy, you must also be referred by an ear, nose and throat specialist. You can obtain that referral through us.

Can you receive reimbursement from Sygeforsikringen Denmark?

Yes, if you are a member — but the reimbursement is paid to you, not to us.

Sygeforsikringen “danmark” reimburses 50% of your out-of-pocket costs, up to DKK 1,500 per hearing aid for members in Groups 1 and 2 and DKK 1,000 per hearing aid for members in Group 5. This means up to DKK 3,000 for a pair in Groups 1 and 2 and up to DKK 2,000 in Group 5. A maximum limit applies within a twelve-month period.

Because the reimbursement is paid directly to you, we cannot deduct it from the invoice. We provide the documentation you need.

What about the supplementary health allowance?

If you are a state pensioner with a supplementary health allowance card, the municipality may cover up to 85% of your out-of-pocket payment.

The amount you are eligible for depends on your individual supplementary allowance percentage, which is calculated based on your assets and income. We help with the documentation required by the municipality.

How do you find out which category to choose?

By coming in for a hearing test before making your decision.

We talk about the situations in which you most often struggle to hear and what you would like to be able to hear better again. Some people mainly need help following television or conversations at family dinners. Others attend meetings every day or work in noisy environments. These differences are what the technology categories are designed to address.

We do not automatically recommend the most expensive option. If you mainly have one-to-one conversations, most people notice little difference between Advanced and Premium.

And if it turns out that you have chosen the wrong option, you have two months to change your mind.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • What does a pair of hearing aids cost at your clinic?

Between 15,000 and 25,000 kroner after public subsidy, depending on the level of technology. Without subsidy, the total price is between 21,934 and 31,934 kroner.

  • Is the price the same regardless of brand?

Yes. Within each category, Widex, Oticon, Signia and Bernafon cost the same. You choose the brand based on sound and fit, not price.

  • Are there any additional costs?

No. Charger, fitting, security system and follow-up are included in the price. Only custom-made earplugs cost extra and you will be notified before they are ordered.

  • Do I have to pay for the public subsidy myself?

No. We apply for the subsidy for you, and it is deducted from the price you pay.

  • How much is the public subsidy?

DKK 6,934 for two hearing aids in 2026. The amount is determined by the Danish Health Authority and adjusted annually.

  • Why does one hearing aid cost more than another?

Because the level of technology is different. The higher the level, the better the device handles situations where many people are talking at once. In quiet environments the difference is small.

  • What if I got hearing aids two years ago?

Then you usually can't get a subsidy yet — it will take four years. You can still buy devices from us at the full price. There are exceptions, so ask us.

  • What happens if the devices don't work for me?

You have two months to return the product and get your money back. The exception is custom-made stoppers.

  • Is there a waiting period to get an appointment?

Call or book online and we will find a time.
