What is Charlottenlund Privathospital?
Charlottenlund Privathospital is a private hospital with its main department at Jægersborg Allé 4 in Charlottenlund, north of Copenhagen, and departments at several locations across Denmark. The hospital grew out of an ear, nose and throat practice founded in 2014, has been located on Jægersborg Allé since December 2019, and is owned and run by three specialist doctors. Ear, nose and throat remains its largest department, and other specialties have since been added, including cardiology, dermatology, rheumatology, gynaecology, paediatric surgery and psychology.
Patients are assessed and treated by specialist doctors and licensed psychologists in their respective fields. The principle is the same across all specialties: treatment should meet high professional and ethical standards, be delivered with compassion, and never be more extensive than necessary.
The hospital works with most health insurance providers, accepts patients under the extended free choice of hospital scheme, and has a public healthcare service agreement. Major operations take place in Charlottenlund, while minor procedures are also carried out at our other clinics.
