Charlottenlund Privathospital in Ringsted is an ear, nose and throat clinic located at Sjællandsgade 18, 4100 Ringsted. What treatments do we offer in Ringsted?

In Ringsted, we examine and treat most ear, nose and throat conditions in both children and adults. These include hearing loss, fluid in the middle ear, middle ear infections, eczema of the ear canal, perforated eardrum, tinnitus, dizziness, nasal congestion, hay fever, nosebleeds, throat infections, voice problems and lumps in the neck.

The clinic also provides hearing tests, including for young children, middle ear pressure measurements, skin prick testing for respiratory allergies, balance examinations and endoscopic examinations of the nose, pharynx and larynx.

What can you expect during your treatment with us?

Your treatment begins with an initial consultation with the specialist in Ringsted, where your condition will be assessed and an individual treatment plan prepared. Many examinations and minor procedures can be carried out directly at the clinic. If a major operation is required, it will be performed at our main hospital in Charlottenlund.

Referral and payment

Most of our patients come to us through private health insurance. Insurance companies typically require a referral or prior approval, so please contact your insurance provider before booking an appointment.

If you are self-paying, you do not need a referral. You can book an appointment directly and find current prices in our price list.

If you have waited more than 30 days for treatment in the public healthcare system, you may be entitled to treatment paid for by the region under the extended free choice of hospital scheme.

Charlottenlund Privathospital also has a public tender agreement within the ear, nose and throat specialty. Treatment under this agreement applies to patients referred by the Capital Region of Denmark and is provided exclusively in Charlottenlund — not in Ringsted.

The clinic is located at Sjællandsgade 18, 4100 Ringsted, within walking distance of Ringsted Station. Public parking is available along both sides of the road. The clinic is located on the ground floor, is accessible for people with disabilities and can accommodate wheelchair users.
