Referral and payment

Most of our patients come to us through private health insurance. Insurance companies typically require a referral or prior approval before treatment can begin, so please contact your insurance provider before booking an appointment. If you are self-paying, you do not need a referral and can book an appointment directly. Current prices are available in our price list.

Treatment under our public tender agreement applies to patients referred by the Capital Region of Denmark and is provided exclusively at Charlottenlund Privathospital in Charlottenlund — not in Risskov.

Practical information

The clinic is located at Møllegårdsvej 7, 8240 Risskov — close to Grenåvej, Ringvejen and the motorway, and within easy reach of central Aarhus. If you are arriving by car, access is via Vindrosen (Risskov Brynet), as Møllegårdsvej is closed off from Grenåvej. Free parking is available in front of the clinic.

Several bus routes, including 1A, 12, 17 and 100, stop at Asylvej/Grenåvej within walking distance of the clinic.

About Charlottenlund Privathospital

Charlottenlund Privathospital has its main hospital at Jægersborg Allé 4 in Charlottenlund and clinics in several locations across Denmark. The ear, nose and throat department was established in December 2019 and has 22 affiliated ENT specialists, who together provide approximately 10,000 patient consultations each year.
